I recently had my two dogs seen for the first time and neutered shortly after that. We love our dogs and only want the best care for them. To be quite honest we had other top rated vets lined up and I didn’t realize what long waits everyone would have. We were in a bit of a time crunch due to business travel that we wanted to take he dogs on. So last on the list I found McMinnville Veterinary Hospital. I really like Michelle. She’s extremely knowledgeable. Until I recently had Dana this time, I secretly only wanted Michelle to care for my dogs. Dana seems to be on top of her game, and she’s very personable. I like her. I do wish that only one these two would see my dog(s). It’s just better that way!

We are new to McMinnville and our dog, Feebee, needed to be seen for several routine things. A thorough examination was performed. The items needing attention were handled. They did find a bad tooth. Records from our previous vet. clinic will be obtained to have a more complete history. We appreciate their finding her bad tooth and will proceed with correction of that soon.

My little babies are both rescue girls and I lost the only one I ever purchased as a puppy to cancer. This clinic adopted us when our former vet moved away after 30 years. When my cat was experiencing dental discomfort they moved her appointment to the top of the calendar. Several days after the procedure they saw her right away when I phoned with concerns. Doctor Schroeder even called me over the weekend to see how my cat was doing. My cat is doing well and I am very grateful to the doctors and staff.

My experience interacting with the vet, even during COVID, has been wonderful but the chronic lengthy wait times becomes discouraging. I don’t know if it’s overbooking or daily emergencies, but the clinic carries this reputation in the community, which is a shame.

What I love most about the hospital is the care we receive from Michelle. For the past 11 years we have trusted her with our dog. We have seen other vets of course while there but have never felt the same level of confidence as we do with Michelle. Thank YOU! We have also loved all of the staff over the years because of their kindness, patience and gentleness with our dog. We have never felt any impatience from anyone and all are so good at handling our pet.

We first went to McMinnville Veterinary Hospital because they were the most affordable option in town. But the staff are really why we keep coming. They are warm, genuine, and knowledgeable. We never feel rushed. Everyone takes their time to do a thorough and good job. They seem to genuinely enjoy their work and each other. I can never remember the Dr's name- Stattler or Sattler- but she is the best.

Due to a family emergency with one of our children, we had to send our dog to the vet with a trusted neighbor. Jessie, I believe that was her name, patiently and kindly took down all the information over the phone that needed to be covered at the appointment in our absence. I have had two interactions with the wonderful vets and their staff at McMinnville Veterinary Hospital in the past few weeks. We had to euthanize our beautiful Lab under very difficult circumstances and Dr. Schroeder was so kind and supportive. She pet him with such kindness as he passed. I will never take my pets anywhere else. From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by the receptionist you know you've gone to the right vet. They all are so passionate about animal care and very caring for pet owners who are faced with tough decisions. My brothers dog became very I'll and I had him take him there. Unfortunately, he had to put his dog down due to cancer and they knew how much his dog meant to him. Out of the goodness of their hearts they went over and beyond for him.

They always treat my dog Holley with care and love. She had a lump in her neck and they worked her into the schedule to get it tested. Test came back sooner than expected & I was relieved to get the call that it was an infected lymph gland and not cancer. They got antibiotics ready right away. The schedule is booked too heavily for one vet. We love the vets there. We love the front desk staff. Everyone there puts their whole heart into their job. There needs to be two vets on at all times and one more tech who is able to back up the front desk when it's crazy. If that happened, the office would run so smoothly and appts would run on time.

They are flexible and understanding. Each employee has pets of their own and they understand that providing vet care for your pets can be a bit of a financial burden, especially for multi-pet households. They are always willing to talk estimates and try to figure out how to bring down costs when necessary. But they are also honest with us about which procedures are needed immediately vs which can wait.

I have been taking my pets to McMinnville Vets since 1983. I left for a couple of years and returned when Dr. Schroeder purchased the clinic. There is nothing negative I can say about the treatment and care of our pets. Thru the years they have cared for l6 dogs that have belonged to my daughters or myself. We care greatly for our pets, and over the years have laughed and cried and have spent many hours there. I feel we have always gotten the best treatment and kindness. I could never be a

What I love most is when Dr. Michelle Schroeder cares for one of my cats when it is sick or gravely injured. Dr. Schroeder has been a wonderful vet for us over the years. I miss seeing her on a regular basis. The turnover among the other veterinarians has felt like a revolving door and hasn't been assuring to us. I hope that you will have some stability with the current vets for a while.

I had my old dog put down and Nancy and the other staff were so kind, gave me lots of time/space and were especially generous in their affectionate caring for my dog. It made a hard decision much easier to cope with. I think human doctors could take a lesson from your staff! Thank you.

From the time we walk in the front door, to the time we leave, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy we are there. My fur baby is always treated in such a loving caring way. Front office staff are friendly and genuinely happy to welcome me and my dogs each visit. Vet techs are also friendly and provide info as needed. Doctors are friendly and compassionate, taking time to listen and understand what may be going on. Willing to explain things in a way that makes sense, rather than talking technical.

Miracle is a major part of our family and is a definite family member. You guys have always been very good about taking care of her when we come in and I've never left there with any questions because each of the Vet's that has taken care of her has been very gentle in handling her and thorough when talking to me. I love the fact that it feels like a family secreting, including the owners and their pets. The Doctors are very upfront with you regarding your pets condition, and are always conscious of the fact that most of us simply cannot afford some of the more expensive treatments and always try to offer a lower cost alternative.

From the receptionist to the vet tech to the veterinarian me and my cat were treated with kindness and consideration. I felt like they were very knowledgeable about what was going on with my cat, and they printed out more info so I can decide on a long term treatment plan. They were even willing to special order a specific food and meds for him. I'm really glad they're our vet!

For almost 10 years now, I have driven 40 minutes to and from McMinnville for the excellent care and loving environment Dr. Schroeder and her associates have worked so hard to create. Everyone at McMinnville Veterinary Hospital is very knowledgeable - from the techs to the vets. But it's the friendliness and caring of the entire staff makes each visit to the vet a (mostly) fun trip for our dog instead of a scary ordeal. It's easy to see that everyone is there because they love the animals.

Love that you guys recognize both me and Maverick! Since we had an emergency visit this week I want to comment on that. Your entire staff was so helpful and sympathetic. Maverick had injured his shoulder and couldn't get out of the car so you guys climbed right in the car and examined him. That saved a lot of trauma for Maverick. He is doing great now and is able to get around well. Thank you so much!
